Petrol (95/98) and diesel are cheaper than in surrounding countries thanks to low fuel duty, roughly EUR 1.40-1.60 per litre; stations are self-service with cards and contactless accepted.
After a crash
Call 112 for emergencies; for damage-only crashes complete the European Accident Statement (constat amiable) and notify the rental firm, calling police if there is injury, a dispute or a foreign-registered party. Cars must have a warning triangle and reflective vest.
