Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Vialy and any order you place with us. Please read them before buying; placing an order means you accept them.

What you are buying

A certified multilingual translation of the national driving licence you already hold, typeset in the booklet format described by the 1949 Geneva and 1968 Vienna Conventions on Road Traffic, delivered to you as a printable PDF together with a wallet card carrying a QR code that resolves to a verification page on this site.

What you are not buying

This is not a driving licence, and it is not a permit issued by any government, motoring authority or automobile association. It confers no right to drive on its own and never replaces your national licence, which you must carry with it. Some countries accept only a permit issued by an authority in the country that issued your licence; where we know a destination works that way, we say so on that destination's page and do not sell for it. Where we have not identified it, you remain responsible for checking.

Your obligations

You confirm that you hold a currently valid national driving licence, that every detail you give us is accurate and relates to you, and that the photograph you upload is of you. We reproduce what you enter. We do not verify your licence against any issuing authority, so an error you make will appear on the document, and correcting it after issue may require a reissue.

Delivery

Each order quotes a specific delivery moment before payment, and that moment is fixed at purchase and does not move afterwards. If we miss it, the order is refundable in full under the refund policy below. Delivery is by email only; nothing is posted.

Pricing

Prices are shown in US dollars and inclusive of our fee. We do not bill you again after checkout, we do not store a payment method for future charges, and we do not charge for renewals unless you place a new order. Any change to published prices is recorded with its date on our fee change log.

Permitted use

The document is for your personal use in driving on your existing private entitlement while visiting. It does not authorise commercial or paid driving, including rideshare, delivery, taxi or professional transport, which every country licenses separately. Do not alter, forge or resell a document we issue.

Limits of our liability

We are responsible for producing an accurate translation of the details you give us and for delivering it within the quoted window. We cannot control whether any particular rental company, police officer or official accepts it, because that decision is theirs. Where we fall short, our liability is limited to refunding what you paid, and we do not cover consequential losses such as travel costs or a cancelled booking. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Accuracy of country information

The driving guidance on this site is researched from national authorities and motoring clubs, and each page names the sources it drew on and when it was last checked. It is guidance, not legal advice, and rules change. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the relevant authority before you drive.

Suspension

We may decline or cancel an order and refund it where we believe the details are false, the request is fraudulent, or fulfilling it would be unlawful.

Changes

If we change these terms, the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
