Stations are attendant-served and sell Petrol 92 Octane, Petrol 95 Octane (Euro 4) and Auto Diesel/Super Diesel; cash is safest as card acceptance is patchy, and earlier shortage-era QR rationing has eased but filling up when you can is still wise.
After a crash
In any injury accident you must stop, not move vehicles, and call Police on 119 (ambulance 1990 Suwa Seriya); a police report is needed for insurance, and driving without the Recognition Permit can void your claim and lead to prosecution.
